Scientists from Graz University of Technology have developed a new process for one, respectively multi-channel noise suppression.
The process is based on an iterative estimation and reconstruction of a signal in a closed loop. Therefore, the amplitude as well as the phase spectrum of the desired signal is estimated and accordingly a noise, respectively interference suppressed signal with improved quality is provided.
The proposed technology is usable as device for noise suppression in signal processing applications with sensor arrays like headphones, hearing devices, cell phones, and so on.
