The Knowledge Transfer Centre South (WTZ Süd) has initiated the fourth edition of the WIRTSCHAFTSGEIST-Workshops series on November 10, 2017.
WHO?
Target groups:
- Students of the Humanities, Social Sciences, Cultural Studies & Arts – from the University of Graz, Alpen-Adria-Universität Klagenfurt and the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz
- Start-ups with ideas for social innovation
WHAT?
The WIRTSCHAFTSGEIST-Workshop provides a platform for students to meet social entrepreneurs. Together, they work on a real-life challenge with focus on social innovation.
WHY?
The workshop creates a win-win situation for all parties involved: while students gain insight to social entrepreneurship, start-ups benefit from the students’ creative problem-solving abilities.
HOW?
Each start-up gets together with an interdisciplinary group of students to work on a real-life challenge defined by the start-up. Approaches from different disciplines are combined while working on the challenge. An innovation coach helps the teams with valuable input and creativity methods, in order to optimize the results.
